The API docs states that it's a bad idea to use the key as a reference to objects like AbEntry, Opportunity in external systems that need access to the data in Maximizer. You recommend always using the ID property of the Key object :-

We have inherited some software that uses the key extensively and are evaluating how 'bad' that is. With that in mind I have two questions for you please:-

1 - Can you explain under what circumstances the API Returned Key.Value could be different for the same object ID?

2 - How is the key constructed? Is it for example based on the actual ID or internal row Id etc?
