API Response Times (what is typical for create, read, and update)

Greetings Everyone,

Given all the requests processed by the Maximizer Octopus API, believe I have a simple question: What is the average response time for a typical API request; create, read, and update? I realize there are many factors for such a broad question; however, need to know what is typical, to assist in how long I need to program my timeout variables for some upcoming asynchronous requests (due to resources on my end, require the minimum timeout value possible).
